LOVE IT

We travel to Myrtle Beach every year with family and stay at Ellington. We absolutely love it here. While it is a no frills kind of place (pool and golf only), the accomodations are EXCELLENT. They have always been VERY clean and roomy. We love the fact that it is off the beaten path in the less crowded Murrell's Inlet area, where the food is OUTSTANDING!!! Try Bovine's! It's the best. We also love the Huntington Beach State Park down the road, to which Ellington provides passes. I don't understand the negative comments, unless people are used to the water-park-next-door thing or didn't read that it isn't on the beach.

Excellent golf course

The unit we rented was clean and roomy. The golf course was first rate and nearby restaurants in Murrell’s inlet were varied and interesting. When you rent one of these units, remember that it is not serviced like a hotel room. You get fresh supplies each day, but be prepared to make your own bed.

Coming back in 2009

We had a great vacation and want to come back next year. For me, the location is excellent...away from the rat race in Myrtle Beach. Its only 25 min south of Myrtle Beach attractions. Both of our two bedroom suites were ready as promised and clean. Staff was attentive, especially when two of our TV's were knocked out during a thunderstorm. They replaced within 24 hrs. (They had to replace 35 - 40 TV's that day). I liked having a pool outside of our building. They provided guests with a weeks pass to two state beaches which are beautiful. You can still go to the neighboring town beaches. Murrell's Inlet is a quiet place to vacation. Can't wait to come back next year.
