Resort News Winter 2011 Please see our Resort Activities Calendar in your welcome packet for the most current list of daily activities at the resort. Some activities include family crafts, bead class, card games, glass painting and more. You can sign up for any activity in the Activities Book located at the Front Desk. Also check out our Wrist Band program which gives you discounts at multiple area attractions and activities. We also have several Side Trips that we can recommend for guests. Some of these include a Day in Charleston, Sun Cruz Casino Boat or Jungle Princess Riverboat. Ripley’s Aquarium tickets are available daily at the front desk for a discounted price. We also offer $10 off coupons for The Day Spa at Wachesaw. A list of services is located at the front desk. Visit our Lending Library at the Activities Office for a variety of board games, DVD’s, books and magazines. We also offer bike rentals to our guests. Huntington State Park Passes are issued at check-in for private beach access during your stay. Please return these passes upon check-out or you will be charged $65. Resort News We now have 8 golf courses for our owners to choose from, which is up from just 3 previous courses! Course availability and stipulations may vary. See the front desk to book tee times. 8 courses currently available are $25 unless otherwise noted: October/November 2010 Festiva Resort News On Sept. 21 we hosted the 2010 Festiva Charitable Fund Golf Tournament. The day was a huge success, raising nearly $40,000 for charity. A big thanks to all of Ellington's employees and all of the tournament sponsors, volunteers and participants. Visit the Festiva Blog for a recap of the day as well as plenty of photos! We are happy to announce that our 9-hole mini-golf course is complete! Visit Festiva Hospitality Group's Facebook page for pictures. September 2010 Resort News Festiva owners and members staying at Ellington have access to discounted rates at eight area golf courses. Click here to find out which courses are available. Construction has begun on a 9-hole miniature golf course, located between the clubhouse and the indoor pool. We are working on plans for tennis courts, basketball courts and refurbishing buildings 3, 4 and 8 in the coming months. To better serve our owners and guests, we have recently expanded our front desk.
July 2010 Resort News We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our Lemonade Stand on June 11 & June 19 in support of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. To date we have raised $479 that will go towards finding a cure for childhood cancer. Thanks again for supporting such a great cause! Resort Activities
